NEW ASHRAE FELLOW ELEVATED AT THE JAN 2006 MEETING

Vojislav Novakovic, Ph.D. Vojislav Novakovic is a professor, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department for Energy and Process Engineering, Trondheim, Norway. He established a master’s degree program in sustainable energy and environment for the Universities of Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro in collaboration with NTNU. Novakovic was chair of the Fourth International Conference on Cold Climate held in Norway in 2003. Co-sponsored by ASHRAE, the conference focused on challenges regarding HVAC&R and buildings in cold climate regions. More than 100 participants from 19 countries took part. Through the International Energy Agency, he helped develop an agreement for life-time commissioning for energy efficiency operation of buildings. The goal was to create suitable tools for function control of energy and climatic conditions in buildings during their operational life.
