Deepak Pahwa

Deepak Pahwa is managing director, Bry-Air (Asia), Delhi, India. Recognizing the need for humidity control products in India, he pioneered dehumidification technology in that country with the establishment of Bry-Air. The company is the only one in India and one of the few in the world to manufacture fluted desiccant media. It is the only company outside North America to achieve Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute certification of its enthalpy rotors. He holds five patents on desiccant technology, and recently worked with the National Chemical Laboratory to develop a mathematical model to simulate the performance of three-section desiccant wheels. To further technology in this area, he is setting up a research and development lab for performance evaluation of energy wheels.
