Arthur P. Garbarino Arthur Garbarino is president and CEO, Air Service Inc., West Palm Beach, Fla. He has been instrumental in refrigeration design and specialized applications for more than 50 years. His projects include cryogenic labs, clean air rooms and dry rooms. He designed and installed radiation containment and environmental chambers for chickens and livestock. Garbarino had to maintain 76°F with 100 percent fresh air while maintaining a negative pressure in the chambers and capture the radiation from the exhausted air. He also designed self-contained laboratories on the ship, Lake Guardian, used to test water on the Great Lakes. He teaches classes and seminars for ASHRAE and other organizations and has taught for Purdue University. He is author of a manual on control circuits and diagrams that is used in classrooms across the nation.
