RECOMMENDATIONS FOR EXCOM APPROVAL

1.         The College recommends that Regions Council request Chapters to encourage their Fellow members to wear Fellow ribbons on their name tags at chapter meetings. The College will provide ribbons at no charge to the Chapters.

INFORMATION ITEMS

Articles of Incorporation for the College of Fellows were filed with the State of Georgia on October 28, 2002. The corporate name is College of Fellows of ASHRAE, Inc

Bylaws for the College (revised to conform with Georgia law) were discussed at the College’s ExCom and Advisory Committee meetings in Anaheim and will be submitted for ballot to the members. Also, a custodian agreement between the College and ASHRAE has been finalized and work on a new MOP has been initiated. 

At the request of the Handbook and Technical Activities Committees, the College has initiated a project among its members to review Handbook chapters, with Initial focus on the Applications Volume. The response to date from College members has been excellent, with over 40 Fellows volunteering to review 48 of the 56 chapters. 

The College’s website has been updated by its new webmaster, Nancy Hallstrom.  

The current leadership of the College is as follows:

For terms ending 06/04: Doug Hittle, George Jackins, Rod Kirkwood, and Ray Thornton.

For terms ending 06/05: Ron Cole, Richard Kelso, Hank Sauer, and Emil Friberg.

For terms ending 06/06: Richard Charles, Tom Ferdelman, Richard Wright, and Lou Kelter
