Dear ASHRAE Fellow:
On behalf of the ASHRAE College of Fellows, let me offer you my sincere congratulations on your elevation to the grade of Fellow. You are now joined with a small and select group of ASHRAE members who have been recognized by their peers for their distinguished contributions to our industry.
The College of Fellows is a relatively new organization consisting exclusively of ASHRAE Fellows. Its mission is to serve as ambassadors to enhance ASHRAE’s technical image internally and in the community at large.
As an ASHRAE Fellow you automatically qualify for membership in the College, and with your consent, you will automatically become a member. A simple “yes” response to me by Email at dgrich@aol.com will suffice.
Although I certainly hope you will participate in the College’s activities, joining carries no obligation to do so. Also, there are no dues or other financial obligations.
Enclosed is a Fellows pin, which is yours to keep. Please wear it as you wish.
Again, congratulations on your advancement. I hope you agree to join and become active with the College of Fellows.
